Cool :-)

Right on. Many people view the call with the recruiter as a yes or no thing. We need pilots, if they can't proceed to the next step in the interview process, they will likely help you come up with a plan to get to that point.

I was hired vfr over a year ago into abq, and was payed the same as a regular ifr captain. I believe it's salaried lower now around $26k until you get your time though.

When you say with us, you mean Allegiant right? How long were you with Ameriflight before you transitioned if that was indeed the case?

3 years minimum, with i believe 2k tpic and a management position will get you the interview.

"Management position" meaning something besides just a line pilot that does his job and goes home. They want to see someone who has taken some initiative and become at least a training captain.

Is initial training (company indoc and such) still in Burbank or has that been moved to Dallas? Thank you.

It's not a guaranteed interview. Just make sure that is buying conveyed properly.

Or you can go to a regional for 1-2yrs. After that, you'd be a shoe in @ Allegiant.

Indoc, ground school, and Sims are held in Dallas. Process takes about 3 weeks before you're sent to the line for OE.
