Whoops, I meant 135, nevermind. Why would APC only have 1180 TT as minimums. I think it's pretty obvious they need 135 mins.

Maybe cause they babysit you for 20 hrs anyway, so by then you'll be to 1200 TT?

Do any of you guys have dual given time or know if they even consider CFI's?

(from their website)

"By the way, sitting in the right seat giving "CFII" dual won't keep you current!"

and

"Be honest with us about your flight experience. Don't claim time in airplanes where you sat in the right seat and didn't touch anything"

Friend of mine got hired with less than 1200 Hrs.

FYI, they are putting people in a hiring pool now. I know somone who got hired from the PHX interviews, but got put in a pool and was told maybe a class in Nov. or Dec. if pilots are needed.

One of the people who interviewed when I was there was an MEI and had been CFI'ing for 3 years... no other job experience.

Not sure if this person was hired or not.

I think they are saying that someone who hasnt actually flown an instrument approach in 6 months and only sat in the right seat wont be instrument proficient enough to pass the sim evaluation.

"Be honest with us about your flight experience. Don't claim time in airplanes where you sat in the right seat and didn't touch anything"

They just dont want to see a private pilot that sits in the right seat of his buddies king air logs all the time while he thinks hes flying.

I had class back in March and the vids were still there, just censored a little.

The Hazlet Be99 tapes are gone, not the indoc ones. They were replaced because they were outdated and had a lot of superfluous information in them.
