Default Part 135 operators

Is there a website where you can see who holds a part 135 certificate and where they operate from? I thought I saw one once but I can't remember where it was.

Try going to your library and in the business/government section you should find "The World Aviation Directory" published every year by McGraw Hill. It might be called "World Aviation Database" now...but its the same thing. Its probably 1000+ pages, but it lists every operator (by region, country, type of operation) throughout the world. (also things like air-force fleets) Its more useful than the above mentioned FAA document because it lists the type(s) of aircraft they operate, the number of them they operate, and in many cases specific names of department heads. If the library doesn't have it, it can be purchased for a mere $400 or so.

Here's the FAA database:
http://av-info.faa.gov/OpCert.asp?SrchBy=Location

Here's another good (and reasonably current) database by ARG/US:
http://www.aviationresearch.com/CHEQ...tml/search.asp

Both are definitely worth bookmarking.
