Checkout aircar.com or give them a call at the number listed on the site. I flew with the a while ago. Good outfit. Night freight is a tough way to build time

I wouldn't really say it's a tough way to build time, but rather it's a great way to build some crucial experience.

Thanks guys I'll do that.....I heard that its a pretty good company to work for. I'm not sure how I'll like night flying all the time, but we'll see.

Haven't seen the sun in forever while flying...you just get used to it.

Think about this...during the day, all you see is sunlight and pretty blue when flying on a clear day. At night, especially during a new moon, you can see all the stars, watch meteor showers, see that comet that has grown in size in the past month, lunar eclipses, etc. Not to mention on you can generally see forever...

For me, daytime is just tooo boring.

Working the back side of the clock IS a tough gig. Believe me, after doing it the last 11 years I would not do anything else. I can not think of any "crucial experience" I had that wouldn't have been possible flying for a commuter. Night flying is just different then some of the other routes you can take in this profession.

The best advice I can give is sleep when your tired. Sounds simple, right. Depending on other things in your life, and the fact that 99% of the world will be on a 9 to 5 schedule, this can be tough. Try to make up for lost rest on your weekends off. The new studies are showing you can make up some of your sleep deficit in the short term. Good luck on whatever route you do take.
