Default Need Suggestions

i have what i think seems to be a unique opportunity to fly 135. The company wants to hire me on as a CFI and then between six months and a year pass me on to their part 135 charter company where they will type me in a lear 35 and a hawker 800. i was wondering if this was worth taking or should i just stick with the airline route. i know that 135 is a little bit different than 121 flying. i wouldnt mind flying lears and hawkers for the rest of my life. is this something that i should consider?? what would the pay be like?? do you think i would have somewhat more job security than going to the airlines?? is this a job i could retire on?? any insight is much appreciated....

You ask questions that are pretty much impossible to answer. What is the company? How many hours do you have? Are they giving you this guaranteed, in writing?

Both have their pro's and con's. My personal opinion is that with 135 your pay will grow faster and you can use your prior experience as a stepping stone. However job security within the private sector is the big question. I see 121 as being more secure for a job as we see oil prices rise and other obstacles within the economy. Also with 121 you will make more money in the long term. Retirement is now being pushed onto the employees of both industries as their responsibility. So it is what you make of it.
