I talked to one of the demo guys at OSH last year. He was saying that thing will do 1000 fpm on a single engine go-around with gear & flaps hanging out. 300 kts true & 4-5000 feet per minute when light.
Hope they put a bigger rudder on it, I heard dukes had problems with VMC rollovers because of it's large engines and small rudder. Not sure if there is any truth behind it though.

You mean piston twins with flat engines, right. Round engines rule, I'd hardly call the DC-3, Twin Beech, or the B-25, garbage...just to name a few.

lol very true!! i saw a bumper sticker on a local pilots truck a few weeks ago and it said real airplanes have round engines with a pic of a jet and an old radial biplane.... i got a good laugh out of it.....so true!!

Hmm.......I don't think the conversion comes with a new rudder, but I don't work there.

they fix the vmc problem with a lot ov VG's and winglets....most dukes are already equipped with these mods
