Their mins are higher than the other big three fractionals. If there pay isn't up to the standards of the other three then I would think that they would have a hard time attracting people - thoughts?
I do like the cockpit though.

So Cal is prob. among the highest "want to be there" flying job locations, so they prob. have the latitude to request higher times. This is also why companies actually pay LESS for an area that has a HIGHER cost of living. Go figure.

Startups always have high mins, once they start looking for SICs then those mins should go down. Otherwise I really doubt a 1000 TPIC pilot would want to become a gear operator for a single pilot certified airplane.

Even with Captain's pay, its still a big leap to join a startup. You might get in at the beginning or you might waste 3-5 years of your life. It should be interesting to see what happens to the fracs as more and more companies jocky for a share of the profits. I surely hope NetJets doesn't become the next PanAm.

Met Brian Coulter Today he was flying N673DC stopped at my airport for cheap gas. Nice guy great airplane looks like they have a good business model and he mentioned something like a 100 phenoms. Should be interesting to see the competition between Airshares and this company.

Default Interviewed

Went to the interview in Longbeach,

Got the email, I'm in the pool .

There where about 60 -70 candidates.
They picked 30... at least Alex Wilcox said they would pick 30.
The problem is the level D SIM in Dallas is not Certified, but expected to be by late this month or in July. We will see.
Also deliveries are off for all the obvious reasons.

more info as I get it.

400/day 14 day Guarantee (Captain). Schedule is a bit unclear.
The only clear statement was no 14 consecutive.
How much $$'s for more than 14 is still a question, but it will be more.

Do you live in SoCal ? I also interviewed but live in the Las Vegas area. From what I know no one in Las Vegas was called rumour was that they are not going to start operations in Las Vegas this year could be economy or other

Living in KPHX area.

A. Wilcox was pitching the packaging of flights with the Casinos in Vegas so I would speculate that KLAS or Henderson is not to far in the future for them.
