For now. Still looking at options.

Just got a call from Bob Shore this morning and was invited to the January FO class. it begins on January 11th. I think most of us that were chosen for this class are going to Saint Louis.

Congrats! I think you'll like it here. Plus, Bob is probably one of the best people we could have asked for in a management pilot.

jonnyjetprop: Don't see him on the seniority list.

I agree! I interviewed with him and he was very easy to talk to. In stark contrast to my last job (PDT). :P I look forward to working with him...

On another note, all you Cape Air guys, if you hear any rumors or have any speculation about when the next Captain class might be, feel free to share... It seems like there are still a few bases with vacancies, but I don't know if maybe they're going to fill them with guys moving up from the mail, seeing as they just had that class on Nov. 30th. It's only been two months for me in the pool, but it feels like an eternity! lol. It's good to know I'll get the job eventually, but I'd prefer it to be sooner than later!

Hooraw,
A hearty congratulations to you sir! That's the kind of news that makes christmas a little more enjoyable. Cheers.

thanks guys, I'm wicked excited. I know that they want at least 10 FO's for the class, and so far they have hired 5. The 5 including myself, are all current Cape Air employees. Four of them work the ramp in BOS, and I work in the MX department(non-A&P) in HYA. I currently have 980TT, & 259 Multi, so I'm not far from PIC upgrade.

Congratulations! I've sent my resume about 2 months ago for the FO position but haven't received a call for the interview yet. I got an email couple of weeks ago saying they'll review my application and if selected they'll contact me for further consideration. Any rumors for another FO class after Jan?

Thanks for checking.

Just wondering where do we go to check out the CO travel benefits? And is there any info we need to enter in order to list ourselves, check flights, etc? Been looking around mycapeair but figured maybe someone here would know better. Thanks.

edit: found the website, guess I have to wait a while to get the login info.
