Are you guys in the same boat we were trying to figure out where the planes were going to come from????? Or do you have lots of spares, I had heard you had like 60 of the 402's?

I'm wondering that myself. We do have close to 60 402's but we sure don't have spares. I've heard we are looking at some here and there but haven't seen them show up yet. I would have liked to have seen a few extra this past summer!

What is everyone hearing about the winter flying?
So I am in the pool already and I think 4th down the list, what is the chance of me getting a call in the next month or so for class? I need a job and can't do unemployment forever.

Honestly I'm not sure what they will do because the people over there that I've talked to said their planes are all busy, and they are short airframes....itll be interesting to see how they will do 4-6 flights a day on the proposed city pairs with this EAS contract. Good luck

I would imagine coming off peak season for Nantucket and the Vineyard would probably free up a few airframes. I flew into HYA last weekend with a student, just a few 402's outside the hangar for mx

Yep sounds good to me.
I was just trying to give an exact number

A new acquisition was in the hanger a few days ago... I think its now in the paint shop. I saw 407BK in the hanger for a few hours one day, but it went back over to the Island hanger. It didn't go back on line, so insert your own rumour here. MX told me we are getting 402C serial #00001, spent its whole career running freight in AK. A total of 10 more airframes are allegedly headed our way. There are lots of 402's out there. I'm confident that we will get just enought to make the operation work. Just.
