Lynx International
That is one of the companies here in Ft Lauderdale, that anyone should keep away from it.
The GM Albert Vitale is a well known crook.
Some of the employees are good people, the DO is also one of the mechanics, what a monkey whrench.
We are serving Lynx with our certificate, but let me tell you, I've never saw a company running as bad as Lynx.
That place is a joke.
Kind of Mickey Mouse operations.
If you do not know the regs, you will probably get a violation, because they will try to push you over your 8 hour or the 14 hour duty time quite often.
Keeping proficiency is better than collecting unemployment, but sometimes I think I'm gonna loose it, and tell them to go to hell.

Management is driving that place to the ground (I guessed it never left the ground).
On my last day, Vitale asked me to fly overwheight to help him out.
This is the worst company, ever.
Although I feel sorry for the passengers, they keep waiting and waiting and no one apparently care for them.

Red flags were all over when I discovered the connection with Lynx.
The only way I got paid was telling management I was not going to fly anymore if I did not see some money first, and that worked.
If all pilots at Lynx stick up together, they can get paid.
Lynx can not afford to loose anybody or to stop flying, so before a busi schedule, they should ask for some money in advance.
That's how you should deal with crooks and bad management.
About Doug, what an idiot, he flying C-402s.
Also tried to make me fly overweight at one time.
He's related to FCA, another company owned by Lynx.

I used to work at Lynx before it started going downhill. I feel sorry because there is/was a lot of good people in this company. It was never managed with a lot of vision though. often penny smart but dollar stupid. it had/has two very good niches, one is Cap Haitien, in the north of Haiti and the other is gitmo. But the lack of vision/ambition prevented from really using these markets to the fullest of their potential. They have had 2 saabs 340 supposedly to replace their Metros on these routes (3 hour leg in a metro is rough). the planes have been sitting on the ramp for at least 2 years now. unable to put them on their certificate. At the time, it was fairly easy to stay within the regs. no pressure to fly overweight and the maintenance was decent. and the flight time limit was 10/day by the way.
I got my PIC time quick and now i fly for Spirit. so I heard about Doug F. at Lynx and at Spirit but never had the "privilege" to work with him. and hopefully it stays this way. good luck to all the Lynx guys/gals

Well, I was working for Wings Air, Lynx was using their certificate.
