I'm a bit tired right now, so I'll get a better response tomorrow/when I feel like it =P
The 50 hours of night is because they had a few captains who went to upgrade but didn't have the required 100 hours of night.
As far as IMC goes, they just want to make sure (especially as an FO) you can keep the wheels down and not CFIT it. I'm not sure if they have a hard IMC time.
As far as the schedules go, I am a commuter and find it for the most part decent. The only complaint I have is the company likes to work you for 4/5 days, but you'll do a 2 day trip followed by a day trip followed by a 2 day trip, or some combination thereof. Crashpads in STL go for ~150 a month; not too bad. That being said, there is a ton of schedule flexibility. It's a small pilot group. Everyone knows everyone. We're all on FB together. If you need time off, you're GENERALLY going to get it.

if you come in as a FO, you will eventually upgrade to captain at 1200hrs, and serve out the remainder of the contract that started when you got hired as an FO.
As for street captains. Couldn't say for sure, but I doubt there is a contract since you are already qualified...generally speaking.
