how about FOs? do they still need any FOs now?

They fly with 2 crew. I do not know what their manning is for FOs. But they are getting airplanes at a pretty decent rate so I'm assuming they will be hiring both seats for a while. FO pay is weird, I think it's like 25/hr for the first 6 months then up to 30 something.

Surfair expanding in Dallas?

Thanks AEav8r, do you know if there is a qual sim before you get to the line for both? Or just the capt?

Jumplane in 2015 they plan to open up in Texas, followed by NY and FL. Jato, it is currently unknown whether we will do aircraft training or sim

Seems to be correct from what I have been told. Start training Monday and it's supposedly 3 weeks so I will have a better answer then.

I saw them in CRQ today and they left with an empty airplane... How often do you guys fly empty?

Thanks for the info. Any idea on how the captain pay ramps up in the 2nd/3rd year?

Also, since they're expanding rapidly, are they offering any company shares, or just standard 401k? Any talk of them going public?

Congrats on getting hired! I'm hand-walking my resume/cover letter to them tomorrow in Santa Monica. Sounds like I better print a few extra copies and keep going back.
