I hear there have been big changes over the last few years, such as pay scheme and home-basing...but no details. Can anyone ballpark Falcon captain pay? Numbers to qualify for direct-hire captain?

Don't know about changes. Have a friend that just got hired over there. He's a DEC, ex 121., home based. I think the schedule is 9/6. Aircraft are old, but he is having fun. Typical on call 135 Cargo. If I remember correctly he said that they got flight plans from dispatch, so that one thing less to do that what you would usually have to do.

Who is your friend? I was in flight control. The dispatchers will create every flight plan for the pilots. We set everything up and give the pilots instructions on where to go. As well as dealing with customs for international trips.
