No real gouge to it. I worked for them a number of years back and checked out their DO in a 402. They're pretty nice guys and are looking for team players. Ie get the job done without breaking regs our killing yourself. You'll be loading, fueling and taking care of the airplane so don't come off as a primadonna who won't get your hands dirty.

Personally I would consider Bering Air in Nome.

I would agree with everything said there. Just be yourself. The CP is a great guy.

I I'm interviewing for the sic position in there casa 212-200. Alaska has been a long time dream of mine and the cp is a very nice guy. I just want to be prepared if they give me a technical interview and what they will ask. I'm far from a primadonna I've been blue collar on a farm all my life. Just wanna ace the interview and get out there. Thanks for all your help!

Anybody have information on these guys, i.e. schedules and pay? Got a tip from an acquaintance of mine they were looking for an FO in the Casa 212, and I'm going to throw an application out there.

A Ryan pilot tells me that Ryan Air has implemented a $27,000/18 month or 1,200 hour training contract for new hires! This was confirmed by another company pilot, who also said that new hires were not advised of the training contract until after the completion of Basic Indoc.

I can't imagine any new hire agreeing to a $27,000 training contract to sit right seat in a CASA 212. Ryan doesn't type SICs. When newly minted commercial pilots can go to several other Alaska outfits and fly right seat without having to sign any contract I can't fathom why they would opt to go to Ryan.

I just recently heard about the training contract. It sucks that it came down to it. Supposedly there is a pay raise coming, but I have heard that for a while now. They also have a new Caravan online.

How are they expecting to attract people when compared to Hageland?
