I interviewed with the chief pilot today, it was a very relaxed interview, here are a few things that he passed on to me. The G1's are used mostly for government contact work flown under part 91, although they do have some part 135 work. If offered a position you will go to FlightSafety for G1 and 135 training, once you pass the 135 check rides then you will be 1 year probationary period. We did not go into the starting salary, but he did say they have good benefits. Flight schedules vary and you could be out up to 30 days, but he said this is usually only once a year or so on the G1. Total flight time a year is about 600 hours a year (I'm currently flying about 1500 a year on my pipeline). All in all, it sounds like a very good place to work and I look forward to hearing back from them.

they also fly Lear 35's and g-3's.
You could go anywhere on the planet from Cartersville, GA.
I think they might be looking for a Lear 35 pilot in Newport News, Va.
That position only flys up and down the east coast. "Military contract" no pax.
