I haven't heard from one person who is unhappy at DPJ.

Yeah same here. Talked to a DPJ guy in FBO in Charleston, and he loved it.

I've been struggling between regional and going corporate. Just met atp mins awhile back. I keep leaning more towards DPJ.

I am not sure exactly what they are looking for. The guy I was talking to was ex regional airline.

I fly charter in a Learjet 35, and comparing my QOL to my regional buddies it levels out. We don't work as hard but don't have a great schedule. Although the small perks of 135 (fuel rewards, hotel points) add up and help.

Although I don't work at DPJ, I can tell you I enjoy my time in 135 and my company is a bottom feeder. So I would impinge DPJ would be great!

I have 1700 hours with 600 jet, and I'm looking to apply. What does the average new hire have right now?

They either have 1,500 hours, 5,000 hours, or 10,000 hours. Keep in mind it takes 3,000 hours to upgrade and you will fly at most 500 hours a year.

My current company is 3000, but we do 300-400 a year. It would be the same boat, but we get virtually no benefits.

I am thinking about making the hop over and flying freight for my current company on the side.

Just a quick off the wall question. How do the flight benefits work for yourself and family? Are they stand by tickets on delta or discounted positive space?

They are standby flight benefits that are the same as any other airline. They are only a benefit if you live in a Delta hub. If you don't, it is just a nice perk about equal to keeping you hotel points.
