Never, never apply or work here. Owner hates pilots, low pay, out for 10 days, home 1 day, then out again. Pilots leave here the minute they can. Training contract is the worst in the industry. Believe me, it's a revolving door for pilots. Reason the career section of their website advertise pilot interviews is because pilot are always quitting!!

Would you elaborate a little about the problems you're facing? Commuting from SAN to Teterboro has my mind pretty well made up but curious what you're running into being there...Thank you

Nothing changed, same owner, same management style. Spoken with their pilots at different FBO’s, all are trying to leave. This is the best pilot market in years, don’t cut your career short going here.

Thanks. It's not anywhere on my list. Have a buddy who just started there. All I can do is shake my head. Was hoping something had changed for his sake.

work enviroment
The work environment is awful. For starters the owner hates pilots and doesn't care about them at all. All there is no one to stand up and speak for you since all management staff is family related. lots of unpaid perdaims and expenses.
The maintenance guys do there best to keep up with the aging birds but with company taking all those short cuts its just a disaster waiting to happen. you can easily lose your license for due to many violations that you are forced to do. It easily could be a carrier graveyard.
If you end up in trouble with the FAA the company wont only NOT support you but will make sure to push under the bus, so they won't get violated and it Happened many times. that's just a sample of how life is at Redwing. most people over here are just waiting for there hefty training contract to expire and they will be rushing out of the door. hardly no one stays.

Two of their buildings took a pretty good hit in a recent storm, one destroyed.
Minor damage to one A/C, according to reports.
