Thumbs down Red Wing Aerplane Company

Never, never apply or work here. Owner hates pilots, low pay, out for 10 days, home 1 day, then out again. Pilots leave here the minute they can. Training contract is the worst in the industry. Believe me, it's a revolving door for pilots. Reason the career section of their website advertise pilot interviews is because pilot are always quitting!!

Much better 135 operators around the Twin Cities area than these guys. I've heard nothing but terrible things about this company.

2 of 3 pilots I know that worked at RWAC ended up in lawsuits. One got

a complete BS pinkslip as well. Save yourself and keep looking elsewhere.

Good luck in your career.

Thanks much for the heads up. Getting somewhat desperate here in San Diego.

I'm from the area and while on deployments would receive any Star Tribune (Twin Cities newspaper) involving aviation from friends and family. The name rang a bell from years past. Here's a newspaper article written about the company.

If it doesn't work, Google Star Tribune Redwing Aeroplane

Previous posts are right. Not a quality operator. They're reputation is so bad locally that they are now flying pilots in from all over the US. Find something out west so your not commuting into Tetterhole

All this info is much appreciated. So that I understand correctly being as green as can be. They don't actually have satellite bases at these locations and all actual charter flights start in Teterboro? Doesn't look like an option for me anyway since my closet point of contact is LAX and and I need to be within 1 hour away. Won't work being in SAN. Very slim pickings here in the S.W.

Best.

Look at Tempus Jet, JetLinx, DesertJet, TMC, heck even Clay Lacy...
