Default CFI Training Contract

Anyone ever hear of any schools helping a commercial pilot get his CFI with a training contract? I think I have seen one or two of the larger pilot mills doing that, but how about a smaller school or even better yet, like a FBO with flight training?

Falcon Aviation Academy will reimburse you for it once they hire you after training, but you still have to play in advance.

CAE Oxford in Mesa pays for your CFI in exchange for a ridiculous 36 month contract.

I haven't heard of anyone paying for CFI, but I got my CFII, MEI, and a $4,000 bonus for an 18 month contract.

Falcon Aviation Academy in ATL has a special running through Sept. I believe where they will reimburse you for the cost of the CFI through bonuses once you are hired, which is $4950. So in that sense they pay for it.

CAE will pay for additional ratings and/or EASA cert conversion for a time commitment (believe one year from ratings)

I think it is way better to just go to an accelerated school.

Do you really want to sign a 12+ month contract with some school that may get slow in a month, have a change in management, have an accident, etc, etc.

You can make that money quickly if you are motivated: flip cars, go to garage sales and sell on ebay, work construction, do mechanic work, etc, etc.

The university I went to (hint: username) paid for all of my training and the checkride in return for either 2 years of service or 1000 hours pro-rated.
