Does anyone have photos of the equipment in the plane? I'm curious to see what the setup is like.

Haha, yeah. Quick tip to all you guys getting ready to start NSA. Don't burn more than 6.8 gph or you'll get phone call If you do there had better be a good reason.

I could show you but then I'd have to kill you. That's proprietary information sir!!! It's nothing special though. 3-5 cameras, big computer rig behind the pilot, power distribution on the hat rack in the back, and a monitor on co-pilot side, plus the lightbar. He should be sending you a manual soon.

NSA has you sign a non-disclosure agreement as the equipment is proprietary and Picto is not keen on their magic setup leaking to competitors. One former survey company went out of business in part because one disgruntled pilot posted pictures of the equipment all over a blog and word got back to Pictometry. You might get someone to send you a pic privately, but most of us don't even bother with taking pictures of the equipment. Its bad enough every hillbilly wants to chat about your funky exhaust and stick their nose in the plane to look at the cameras.

O wow didn't realize that. I take it the exhaust is like one of those power flow units that goes all the way to the back of the plane?

Yeah, exhaust goes all the way past where the pax would sit. He's got some pics of some of the aircraft on his website if you've been to it.

The hot question is always "how much more HP do you get with that exhaust?"

The longer exhuast system is there to redirect the exhaust heat away from the camera system.

@Cruz, looking at hotel clarion bro if you wanna split the costs with me. Checking in the afternoon on the 26th. Flight gets into Buffalo around 2:30.

Nick emailed it looks like they maybe getting us the hotel. He is going to send us an email with more details. They are also picking us up from the airport from what I read. I can hop a flight that will get me in at noon. If they don't pay for the hotel I'll for sure split the room with you.
