Even though I don't need the CFI should I get it?

Any advice on why or why not, I have over 725TT with 250 Multi and still climbing, have a friend that just bought a nery nice 182B (I flew it back from Reno to Ohio for him) and offered it to me for fuel cost and another friend charge me 20.00 per hour CFI time, (but I think I can get the CFI cost down to a couple cases of beer). I don't need it for time building and if I did the work I would have a CFI with no dual given when I start applying to regionals. I do have my AGI and IGI already so I would just have to take FIA test and pay what ever the DE charges.
