Go to F&H Solutions web page. These are the people hired to "manage" your expectations. They read your web pages all the time to gauge what Piedmont pilots are willing to accept. I am sure they are not happy the word is out that Piedmont is probably near the bottom of desirable airlines to work for. They have a hand in all the crappy offers you get. All the kids out there ready to go to the regionals want Republic these days, for what that's worth. Then PSA. Unfortunately, Piedmont has gone from being very desirable to completely not. A shame.

At the rate they’re going, F&H is going to consult their way out of an income stream. Piedmonts pilot group has shown a willingness to vote “no” to concessions until Piedmont closes its doors on the airline side of the house (even when the Union leadership encourages otherwise as with the recent F&H consulted TA). Every segment of the industry is hiring and Piedmont is rock bottom in terms of pay and QOL. It’s the front end of the largest retirement/hiring wave in recent history. At this point outside of the top 40 pilots, no one has a pension or an emotional investment in flying aircraft with “Operated by Piedmont Airlines” on the side of them. A 5-10 year flow to the Major with the worst financials and lowest likelihood to survive the next large downturn isn’t enough of a carrot for the bottom 51+% of the pilot group to agree to give concessions. Every single pilot on the Piedmont seniority list could have another job lined up in short order when the flight side of the house shuts down and most of those would be a step up on pay and QOL.

One thing to consider about flowing to AA or pursuing a job at a legacy airline... Even if the economy takes a big hit and markets dip 20-30%, there are so many retirements it’s insane. Sure they may contract a bit, but with the number of retirements (especially at AA) you’ll still likely see hiring and movement. Compared to an LCC that has a very junior pilot group, if the music stops you’re stuck where you’re at.

They can’t win here...They don’t get this place on the right track and every single management employee at this place will be looking long and hard for a job.
I don’t want a merger by any means. But if it were to happen we would all have jobs on the other side. You think MK can say the same? Hogg? Literally any of these people who quite literally cannot run an airline? Adios amigos!
F&H commies will be just fine. PDT management can kiss their jobs goodbye if it goes that way.

I am at the point where they have hosed us and insulted us so many times before that I don’t care if they think they can win this one and it turns sour.

^^This. Just like the last 70% no, I’m very glad we didn’t take the money and run. Fact is, money alone still does nothing to bring people here. I’d like to think that realization is sinking in, however I thought the same last time...

It still amazes me how the raa always spins a news story to explain how the regionals are necessary for pilots to gain experience before pilots can jump to bigger planes... every single person that's in the raa makes large amounts of money in the list below on pilots backs, working for less in the name of labor (pilots) paying their dues..
