You remind me of that guy on the company facebook page ripping on someone for writing up the FMS. Guy didn't know any of the details, but went as far as making a youtube video to harp on them.
Knew that guy was different before this. Now I know he's different, AND a tool. Motorcycles are dangerous, folks.

Apparently a crew with a "new to us" airplane on its first revenue leg couldn't get the weights in the UNS to change from summer to winter. I know one of the crewmembers, and can tell you they have plenty of experience on the 145 from a previous company. They ended up writing it up.
The genius in question, who is brand spankin' new to the left seat, swapped into the airplane. Reviewed the logbook like a good boy and saw the write up. Proceeded to take a picture of said write up, post it on the facebook group as a "public service announcement" on how to change the UNS weights. Made a video of him changing the weights from summer to winter and uploaded it to youtube (see below). Tool of the day award goes to........

It's not just in the group. I am a sparse user of Facebook but it made it's way onto my feed the other day. I don't understand why he did it either, same team for Christ's sake. If anything, this goes to show the omnipotent and less humble among us that not everyone uses the box for everything. This is especially true for the way we do weight and balance. Some people still multiply/add it up on paper, because they know math and stuff. Nothing wrong with that classic approach if it yields the same result.

You said it, not me!
I wonder how the company would feel about someone publicly ridiculing others about write ups. And putting up pictures of the logbook on the internet. Not to mention, he took that video in flight!

"Set and off" comes to mind. Sounds like someone can ridicule people but can't read a checklist.
