Default Unique ALPA CA/FO PHL Rep Campaign

This is awesome. Hope these two get voted in, they are ready to work hard for what the pilot group deserves at Piedmont.

My vote is Jorge. I have flown with him when he was an FO and he is a Pro. Great attitude, big picture guy and has experience beyond just piedmont. Also knows how to say NO!

I like BL. He is making change at the scheduling level. He has passion for it. I am a believer that a man can serve only one master. I think the scheduling side will suffer if he gets the CA rep nod. We need all the help we can get on the scheduling side.

We need people with diverse experiences representing us. Not just the usual pick of whomever is going to rubber stamp BF and CO. They are out of touch. This is no longer an outstation based little airline. BF hasn’t flown the line since it was! How can their views be even close to our day to day reality.

They pretty much endorsed BL in the email the other day. Very unprofessional IMHO. Should have been. You have an election coming up. Do your research and choose who will represent your interests the best. And that’s it.

Whomever you choose. At least vote!

Yeah, except I’m not the only one with that question.

Anyone else remember when JG was in bad standing with ALPA at XJT?

Seems a little reckless is all.

Agreed. Great attitude and he is someone who understands the new generation of pilots who are coming in. Not everyone is a fan but he calls it like he sees it and is not afraid to say no, that's what PDT needs right now. Like you said, whomever you choose - make sure to vote!

Mind the troll around these parts folks!

“Not afraid to say no” no to paying his dues or doing work he volunteered to do. That’s not trolling, that’s fact.

“Not everyone is a fan” of my brand of news sometimes.

Just says a lot about someone who is supposedly for the pilots, but won’t pay his dues to benefit the whole.

Seems selfish and doesn’t inspire much confidence that this guy is really here to do much more than interrupt progress.

I feel ya. Some people change. I know I was a very different person in 2008. I didn't know JG then, and I wouldn't vote on what someone did 10 years ago, especially an airline pilot who went through the lost decade. Whatever works for you tho
