I did get an offer from PDT and accepted one from different airline.
I thought we were sharing experiences here to help each other. I might have had even accepted the one from Piedmont if I haven't heard from current PDT pilots. THX to everybody for the info that helped me to decide on the next step of my career.
Good luck to everybody!

Quite the opposite. Piedmont and AA would both benefit from increasing the flow. Folks who would go elsewhere like an LCC would be more reluctant to leave if their flow time went down considerably. In return, its helps keep people here for a longer duration as well as keeping Piedmont pilots in the AA family.

Shhhhh, young one. As the old wise knows all and knows better by his intuition. He shall predict the regional future through his long tenure in the regional airline industry.

Speaking of interviews, seems you guys are hunting for Australian new hires?
How many do you have?

Half Dozen, or a Dozen or so? Some Kiwis too.

One of the first ones hired recently just returned though. He got tired of the terrible schedules that go along with the low pay.

Looking at our current list. Figuring about 6 upgrades and 14ish FOs per ground class. They start a ground school every two weeks. The current bottom of the list 14 FOs will start in 8 weeks. If it is longer maybe the delay is to support some other challenged part of the pipeline.

The February hires would have about a 9 week wait. Down from the 14 to 17 weeks of my class. The theoretical March hires would 7 week wait. With a couple of April hires having only a two to four week wait.
