Go to PSA, you’ll enjoy a better QOL and still have the flow for a back-up plan.

I’ve spent time in the jumpseat on piedmont, the crew room in Phl, and I’ve had plenty piedmonsters in my jumpseat. They are not a happy bunch. I’d normally say take what you hear on the internet with a grain of salt but holy moly these guys QOL sucks. Don’t short change yourself for low reserve time or whatever it is you’re afraid of at RPA or PSA.

There’s a reason you don’t hear PSA or Republic guys *****ing. They aren’t saying “don’t come here” while piedmont guys are.

Maybe you should listen?

The people here are great, and most don’t complain in the cockpit too much. That’s the saving grace of this place

100%. Definitely an awesome pilot group. Every piedmont pilot I’ve met so far is one I’d grab a beer with.

Make sure you get the referral bonus!! Lol. Not attacking anyone but Piedmont is lacking in a lot of areas.... IJS. Best of luck in your aviation quest.

I'm struggling with the same choices as the OP. PSA or Republic.. that flow sure seems comfortable.

The two are currently relatively similar in terms of QOL and pay for line holders. Having a built in exit strategy is nice, even if it’s a backup plan. Also movement from the top of the seniority list creates openings for advancement beyond being a line pilot, which may facilitate a departure earlier than the flow.
