The father paid USAPA dues. He was the spokesman. There was a lot of head scratching at USAir over the guy showing up on the CAL scab list and being employed at USAir. Someone said he showed up because he had been hired at CAL during the strike, but left before he ever flew a trip. That is supposedly how he got his pass at USAir or Piedmont. He must have convinced someone he never actually crossed a picket line to perform struck work. Yet going to a class and getting his name at ALPA was enough for them to list.
