Until Amazon takeover 95% of the world's freight flying, goes to single pilot cargo ops, and uses their business model to pit all of the pilots against each other while constantly undercutting each other to try to keep what flying daddy Bezos will dish out to them. You know...like what is in the process of happening now.

Even creating a vertical monopoly to deliver his own stuff might be too much for the trust-busters.
Trying to expand that to take over other industries such as traditional package delivery/air cargo would be way too much.

That was one guy, IIRC the FO didn't say too much.
I believe the CA no longer flies for SWA, and he got dragged through the wringer along the way to that. I think divorced too.
In his slight defense... he *thought* he was talking trash in private, he didn't actually post anything on social media. Should have saved it for happy hour. Guess that's why that switch is spring-loaded to off (but everybody uses a rubber band to hold it in the on position).

But this is all RUMINT. Open to stand corrected. Life ain't fair is all I got out of the anecdote tbh.

But let's hold out hope that they'll save us in the future.

Yeah well the "trust-busters" certainly didn't say or do anything while all these lock downs caused mom and pop shops to go out of business, and in the mean time Bezos and crew are just getting richer and more powerful.
But let's hold out hope that they'll save us in the future.

The trust busters do not have a mandate to supervise state governors, mayors, etc. Nothing to do with the price of tea in China.
