I didnt paint the henson part, that was another one of the interns in our group. Was pretty fun to do, surprised it still there thou. Not sure if it turned out the best, but I guess not bad for free hand.

Have to say interning there was fun, on the down times playing Softball "Homerun" derby with the station manager, and the "fun times" where the interns were the ones that did the x-ray machine and security. Oh the times pre-9/11.

I hear they are supposed to keep hiring throughout 08, and the classes are roughly 15 or so students, give or take a couple. One class a month.

Mainline US Airways is "preferentially" hiring our guys monthly, so we have steady attrition there, as well as guys leaving for various other majors. There is still some FO attrition, but not nearly as much as there was just a few months back. This is most likely due to upgrades now nearing the two-year mark and soon to be even less.

Is airways running clases still? I've heard about this agreement but don't know much about it. just curious IF airways was to furlough, do those guys "preferentially hired" flow back to piedmont?

Are the upgrade times really comming down that much??

Soon they will have to lower the TT requirement to upgrade then as many of the guys will be less then 3000TT.

PDT is basically on the last of the '05 F/O's for upgrade now. There are still many F/O's senior to them that have not upgraded for whatever reason too. That said, there aren't many F/O's with an '06 hire date remaining, and there are hundreds with '07/'08 hire dates.

PDT Mgmt. said about 2 months ago that they are "looking into" reducing upgrade time (although they didnt mention any numbers).
