Default Piedmont pay / earnings

Hey guys.

I was wondering what you Piedmont guys ended up making 1st year after taxes. If you wouldnt mind sharing. Just trying to organize myself here a little bit, but not exactly sure on what I would end up with after the first year after taxes and all that jazz.

Also, when are we supposed to get the new pay scale? Sometime this summer I have heard? How much more is it going to be? I have heard rumors, but am not sure how much truth there is to them.

Thanks for replies

Still in my first year, I've had some months where I brought home ~2700, some where i brought home ~1800 (after taxes) all depends on how much extra flying you pick up, per diem etc.

I think the annual raises come down May 16, its should increase to 26.35 from 25.58.

On average i'd say i'm pulling in $2300/mo with the current pay scheme after taxes. I get a lot of out and backs so the per diem is taxed when that happens, so it could be a little more. Looking forward to the contractual pay raise Phuz mentioned in may. yee haw.

As a 4-year FO, I made just under $41,000. With upgrades happening so quickly now, very few will see that 4th year in that seat though. Your hire date still counts as far as pay though when you upgrade, so if you are a 3-yr FO when you upgrade, you start with the 3-yr CA rate.

Thanks guys for the replies. I am hoping to fly as much as possible, list myself first out for all the reserves etc. etc. So I am hoping at least 25k after taxes is realistic..... IF I pass LOE now. heh
