Default Piedmont?

Are they still hiring like mad? Or did they slow down like all the other regionals.

Slowing down a bit, but not like other places. As far as i know our training department being back upped is the reason for the slowing. I was hired several months ago and already have close to 200 guys below me on the list. thats pretty good considering there is only 250 FOs in the company.

There is a lot of attrition here because of guys leaving for AWAC, 'Pubilc, SKYW, Compass so on and so forth. However given the uncertainty of 50 seat RJ's i'd be scared to be at the bottom of the list at any of those, except 'public and compass maybe...

Anyways, just my two sense

Applied about 3 weeks ago and heard they are really backed up right now. I have about 2300 total and 1000 multi. Piedmont has a base 2 minutes from my house, that is a good reason to work there!!! Turboprops are alot more fun anyway! Ok, lets here the flaimbait....

What flaming??? You are right. T-Props are more fun to fly, and you would get a lot of great experience at PDT. I have flown biz jets, RJ's and the Dash, and the Dash is hands down my fav plane to fly!

Nice! I start class next week, I was hoping there were overnights there. Better than some other options in the system...
