MDT also seems to be a pretty good option, I guess it is also a pretty commutable base? With lots of flights going in and out to PHL daily? So that might be an option as well. So far every crew I have came across seems to have been pretty good, so what everyone says about Piedmonsters so far has held true.
That's the real benefit. Bases like SBY and EWN really don't have a whole lot of other carriers to try to commute on, if any.
Good luck at Piedmont. Just smile all the way through training and don't crash the sim and you'll be fine. After that, enjoy flying the DASH. . .it will be one of the best planes you'll ever fly.

if you have some info that would be cool. I am staying at a crashpad now, but it would be good to know what other options are out there. Thanks.

There are quite a few USAirways express flights in and out of MDT, but there are also other carriers as well. You are welcome to jumpseat on all of them including UPS and FEDEX.
