500 TT/100 ME is the bare mins for insurance purposes, but ME time changes all of the time. I know people that had 500 TT and 30 ME...

It's all about who you know...

Oh really....well is there a "best" way to submitt the resume? i.e...that e-mail that address on airlinepilotcentral's Piedmont page...regular mail, or is there an online app (because I haven't found anything on their site, not even a pilot job posting)...

Fax to H.R Dept care of the Chief pilot John Buchanan or the Chief pilot admin Shirley Gregory. If you don't hear back from them P.M me and we will find a way. What part of the country are you from?

The North East (NH), but I don't care where I go...(single, no family to support, no responsibilities beyond my career, so flying is the priority)

I worked for PDT for a number of years.
They do hire 400 hour guys, but the ones
I flew with were all from UND and Perdue.
A lot of Air Whiskey and Coex pilots came
from PDT and as soon as they could, they
left. It pays well for Captains, scheduling
may seem okay if you came from somewhere
tougher, but it still sucks. You have to ask
permission to go home after your trip.
Management is receptive to lower time
guys, in fact I would go so far as to
say they don't want you to stay there
forever if you get hired. Maybe someone
more current with the company can describe
their training.

I'd heard horror stories ("I'm going to ZW so I don't have to back to CQ [recurrent]"), but when I went through last year it wasn't too bad (as long as you pass the tests- we had a few weeded out there). No one busted the sim or SOE.

And BTW, Perude is in SBY and makes chicken, Purdue is in IN and makes pylets.
