Oh come on, you mean the portable PC Air unit with the hose placed in the cargo bin blowing cool air into the cabin through the wall door on the DH8 is not good enough when your at the gate? What's the problem?? :D

Now that is air conditioning. When we can get the carts I always hang out in the plane on breaks. It's like an oasis ;)
