I have UNFORTUNATELY been out of the hiring scene for a while, never flew the regionals.

Again SO SORRY for asking your opinion.

Unlike me, I am sure you all were born knowing it all.

It won't happen again.

Roll tide feller.

Piedmont. Both good choices. Heard mostly good stuff about Piedmont and they have lots of movement.

You put zero effort into your post. It could have gone into the Piedmont or Commutair threads, which you could have read (and asked questions in) to perhaps determine your own answer. "Which one is right for you" depends strongly on what you value, where you live, what's important to you, etc, none of which you put in your post. You were basically told this exact same thing 4 days ago but decided inexplicably to try again. Thus why you are being mocked, don't rage at us.

Which one has either a base you want to live in, or a base that you can easily commute to? Both are good companies and good pilot groups. Both are experiencing growth. I think either is a good choice with my own personal opinion leaning towards Piedmont.

These guys are giving you a hard time because you are coming to this sh*t hole to find out where you want to work. Just a heads up… This place is filled lies, jaded old farts, know it all new guys, trolls, kool-aid drinkers and very very few normal people. So please do yourself a favor and do not use this place as an aide to figuring out where you want to work.

Good luck.

You forgot to mention it's full of lazy jokers who can't use the search function, and post a 2-3 word question and expect people to write essays about where they should work.........

Ok.. I'll bite and spend a few minutes to give my 3 cents..

I'm at pdt and will try to give the results of my due diligence since I considered C5 commutair.

A lot has changed about c5 since last year.
Pay will be 10 bucks an hour more or 10k more year. The bonus is 10k or 15k depending on your 121 time you have.

C5 has a ewr or iAd base. C5 has the preferred hiring with United. This is not a flow and you have to take a written test and interview before u are in the hiring pool for United. It is possible that u don't qualify for United. The pdt is a flow.. No violations and u go.. No interview.. No wonderlich test.

Both have 145s coming.. Quick upgrades.. Pdt is a little larger. C5 has 200s and 300s with no apu but have Efis.

Pdt has awesome crews.. I'm sure c5 does too.

We share many of the same destinations. But pdt goes to some unique places down south plus the the unholiness of clt gets to be experienced.

I am happy at pdt right now, it's exciting to see the growth here. I do hope the compensation gets in line with other companies.. I will say this the health insurance is impressive.. I know it's not as cheap as what it used to be but I have never gone to a specialist and just paid a twenty dollar co pay.. That's almost unheard of.
