Probably needs to be board certified, not FAA board certified. Every neurologist I’ve seen lately is board certified, although some might not be. Their bio on their practice website should tell you.

I can put you in contact with an Senior AME in Houston that used to on the FAA Neurological advisory panel . He might still be, not sure.

Anybody know what the current approximate wait times to hear back from the FAA regarding neurology issues is? I was told they only meet every other month, and it could be between 1-6 months to get a response. I’m sending my package in this week. I didn’t know if someone might’ve had a recent first hand experience?

”Neurology issues” covers a multitude of sins, some more sinful than others.
