Has anyone been able to negotiate a lower membership fee because you showed that you're not in your home city/town for over half the month?

I doubt it, but many airlines have a corporate discount with certain health clubs. 24 hour fitness is pretty cheap, and they are all over the west.

UAL has a corporate rate at ALL Bally's for $20.00/mth, to use any of their gym's anywhere in the nation for that price.....

The student gym on ASU's main campus gives airline discounts....and you will NOT find finer scenery anywhere on the planet.
