Here is the problem. My eye doctor said the best my vision is corrected to is 20/25 in both eyes. He said I may never see 20/20 until technology improves. Now here is the sisuation I had lasik over 7 years ago because of my astigmatism and thats when I achieved 20/25 and still am today. I have held a class 1 for three years and now it has downgraded to a class 3 as of 08/01/2009. I wear glasses as well to help make my 20/25 as clear as possible but I still can't see 20/20. I need to get a new class 1 because of a potential job opportunity here in ATL. I must admit I get very lucky when I do the eye test because I can only squint out 1 number on the 20/20 line and walk out with a class 1, but I think my lucky streak may come to an end. Remember I AM NOT CORRECTABLE TO 20/20. Does anyone recommend a good and fair AME in the metro ATL area. And if all else fails do you think I could get a SODA or waiver for a class 1 with my sisuation.
