motion sickness patch
#11
I used a motion sickness patch prior to flying air to air combat with Skywarriors in Atlanta. I had zero hours and it was their suggestion. That patch put me in a daze and I'm not sure it helped, but I did not get sick. But that "dazed" feeling probably makes the FAA unhappy. That was 20 years ago - don't know what's on the market now for nausea. Ginger sounds like the way to go.
Funny story, not going to help but:
News guy was getting a fam ride with the Thunderbirds and was worried about getting sick. The pilot told him to eat bananas prior to the flight. The news guy asked if the potassium in the bananas helped nausea. The pilot replied, "naw, they just taste the same coming up as they do going down".
Hang in there - it'll get better.

Ginger root.
FORGET patches!
Go to GNC and pick up a bottle of ginger root tablets. A bottle of a 100 is $5.99. I have used it and still do. I suggested it to a bunch of friends, CFI's and new students. They all say it worked. I take it 2 hrs before a flight.
