That is correct.

I know I said only 2 questions, but I just came up with another. Haha.

If you pick up a trip that carries in to the next month. Let's say 29th through the 1st for example, and the 1st goes critical. Do I submit the pay claim for the month that the trip started or the month that the day goes critical? I ask because I got a claim denied for last month because the day that was critical was in the next month. If that is the case, will they pay you the critical pay for the previous months days on the next months paycheck?

What are the options (cost) if I'm only interested in the vision and dental packages?

Just buy it on your own elsewhere. That is pretty cheap to buy alone. Ours is a package deal.

Relocation Days

Ok, just off OE and got SCR the rest of the month. 5 days on SCR, RLD 4 days, then 5 days SCR.

Prior to the RLD, does the company have to provide hotel, per diem, and deadhead? Thanks

Yes, they sure do.

Company will not book hotel for overnights if you are in your assigned base on a reserve period, even before your RLD's. You will book and pay for it, and company will reimburse you through/under the commuter hotel program up to the $250 for the month. When you are away from your base (e.g. overnight after flying) they will book and pay for it though.

This is 100% false.

Before your relocation days, the company will book and pay for your hotels in base. Just call scheduling. They will take care of it. Since you have not had the chance to move yet, they will give you hotels in base. They will also give you positive space tickets to and from base.

After your relocation days, you can use your $250.

When I upgraded, I got hotels for 3 weeks before my relocation days. I just called scheduling, and they booked them for me. Same when I was an FO.

Read your contract. It is in there.

PSA Help, could you please provide a section and paragraph in the contract that states this? I would not have posted if I wasn't experiencing this scenario as I posted! I've looked in section 5B2a and 6 and neither have verbiage supporting the company's requirement to book and pay for my hotel up front. I'm on my first RAP after IOE, in my awarded domicile, and my RLD's begin tommorow. Crew scheduling told me they are not required to book or cover my hotel when I'm back in domicile. I know they will reimburse it later, but new hires should know the policy and location if they hear the same coming out of training.
This is a great example of the need to know your contract in and out so someone's else's lack of knowledge doesn't create a hardship for you.

Thanks in advance for the help and all you do.
