The only issue I have seen is that they do not provide individual dental. It has to be bundled. I have Delta through my current employer, because what they offer you when you retire is ridiculous. As of now, I am planning on paying for my own coverage instead of using one of the company offered insurance plans.

This is probably somewhere in the "Travel Guide", but when is the latest you can cancel a flight on Trip Planner? Can you do that after checking in? Do I even need to cancel if I don't need the flight any more?

You can cancel at any time, even once checked in.

If you know you aren't going to use a trip, always cancel, especially when checked in. Mostly as a matter of courtesy to other non-revs watching the priority list. If you can't cancel because you're in-flight (like a missed commute), they will skip you and generally roll you to the next flight. If you no-show a couple in a row, they will likely cancel the PNR and stop rolling you over.

The only time not cancelling a checked-in listing becomes an issue is when creating multiple listings. If you are checked-in for two flights at the same time that's a big no-no.

I am scheduled for ATP/CTP schoool at CAE in Dallas. Can anyone provide any information concerning the school? How is class structured? Times? Which hotel does PSA put you in? Thanks.

I would like to make sure I'm understanding the contract correctly. Please let me know if I'm mistaken.

I was awarded a 4-day trip starting on the 22nd. The 3 days before that (19 to 21) were my off days. I swapped the said 4-day trip with a 3-day trip which begins on the 20th, which has also been declared a critical day. My understanding is that I'll get critical pay for the whole trip. Is that correct?

Thank you! I appreciate the help.

Yes, but only if you remember to put in the pay claim at the beginning of the following month. And only if you enter the pay claim correctly...

Benefits Paperwork

Hello All,

New hire here. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what sort of paperwork I need to bring in order to sign up my spouse, child and in-laws for travel benefits. Just want to gather all the paperwork before I head up for INDOC next month.

Thanks much!

If I remember right I submitted a copy of my marriage certificate to list the wife, a copy of my birth certificate which listed my parents for their benefits, and a copy of each kids birth certificate which I’m listed on. I don’t know what you’d need for in-laws. I don’t like mine enough to give them flight benefits although one Christmas I did give the mother in law a D3 to come see us but I can’t honestly say if that was generosity or wishful thinking that she’d get stranded trying to make the connection.

OK, great info and MANY THANKS! I will have those docs for sure. My parents are way too old to travel so by default my in laws are the winners :D
