There are things, there just isn’t any sense of urgency with classes being relatively full and attrition at a manageable level for the moment. When/if PSA and AAG decide they want to continue growing the fleet then they will figure out how to do it.

My guess is raising pay will be their last resort. I would expect to see a flow increase to match the other WOs dangled at us in exchange for PBS and improved reserve rules sometime in 2019. Pay will come, but only when they absolutely have to to keep the wheels from falling off the wagon.

Here at Envoy I just saw a 28.07hr 4 day drop into OT, bit of a unicorn trip but still it’s there. So there’s no reason that all the AA WO’s can’t create efficient trips given we all share similar flying.

The most logical answer is that we won't see anything until after the flight attendants agree to something otherwise the company won't be able to convince the FAs to take another **** raise because once they see what we might get they'll hold out for more

I disagree. Flight Attendants are a dime a dozen. They have no skills that can't be trained in a few weeks, and have no leverage as a result...no matter how jealous they may be of what skilled labor is earning.

I agree with your reasoning about what they'll get and what they are worth.

I'm saying from a company perspective that it will complicate their ongoing negotiations if we do actually get something good and they get offered more ****.

They were offered 15¢ the other day IIRC.

Perhaps. I don't want it to sound like I think the Flight Attendants don't have value. I personally think it's ridiculous what they get paid for what they have to do. I'm just looking at the supply/demand economics.

Agreed.

Until they can't fill classes the beatings shall continue...

Are you sure that was our FAs, or are you thinking of the PDT TA?
