Lol as useless as our union is, if they had rolled over and agreed to a holiday pay LOA after furloughing over 700 pilots even I'd have been shocked at their ineptitude. If we need more pilots to cover our flying then we should be recalling furloughs period end of story.

Thanksgiving has always been a staffing issue, SAP guarantees that.

Whatever you want to say about furloughs, they didn’t make Thanksgiving a staffing problem.
