Don't forget to tell them you know how to fly the plane they've been flying for years better than them, and you plan to do things your own way on the line.
P.s. Don't forget to say, "Sit down! Shut up! Descent checklist complete!" to show your confidence.

Also, answer the question that’s being asked nothing more and nothing less…. The moment you give an examiner more or less, you have now started to dig yourself a hole. That’s where things spiral for folks with examiners like JC…

Thank you. That is typically my M.O.
Simple, think about the question they are asking and answer it. If it’s a limitation question, best to answer it verbatim as it was the expectation there.

Hello all, so it’s been a few years since the last post in this thread.
Now that PSA is back to hiring people, it reminded me of this website I had created way back.
I am the original creator of the website. If someone is curious about any questions, feel free to ask.
I just finished probation at my legacy airline I am in right now,
So I’ll hang around for a bit for any respectful questions if needed.

I will comment on this thread. I went through training last year, and it seems the training department has done a complete 180 compared to what the website talks about. It was still difficult and thorough, but every instructor and APD I had, it felt like they were on my side. Everyone else in my class had the same experience that I had. It seems like they have gotten rid of the bad apples in the training department and revamped the entire program.

For me, it was only JC mostly the problem, and to this day I think it’s ridiculous how they still have him there. My Checkride with him was nothing like any other Checkride I’ve had. All my other Checkride were gentleman-like. But JC, seemed like a high ego “tough guy” during his ride with me, with a smug face, shaking his head, like someone dare question his majesty or they’ll be executed.
After some back and fourth with previous people who took rides with him and knowing more about his history, boggles my mind how he’s even a pilot. Let alone an examiner. He has NO business evaluating other people when he can’t even evaluate his own behavior.
