Every other airline has a much better flow. 7+ years for PSA, I’m sure anyone that has a heartbeat can beat this “flow”

More than likely they'll use Frontier as a stepping stone to bigger and better things, beating the average PSA flow to a career destination by a long shot.

As for JC, its right, he is a high ego nutjob. I had him and and failed. So did my sim partner. So did my friend. So did my friends friend. The checkride was the most unfriendly one. CRM during the checkride was non-existant. In the briefing room, he gave me a tap on the shoulder and was like "haha! better luck next time" and walked out the room. Failed for things that were not true. I was told by instructors not to answer the flight attendant calls when in a hotspot. So I did that in the checkride, and he said I wasn't supposed to do that and he never heard of such a thing and that I was supposed to answer thier call (what???). Not to sound dramatic, but it really felt like I had been raped, no kidding. That was a couple years ago so I am over it now and am at another airline. I dont know why PSA has a criminal examining checkrides.. isnt that a bit ironic? a criminal evaluating if someone else is making good decisions? lol.

I talked to many captains in the training department about him, and they all said the same thing, no one likes him there

Also dosnt help that we were all minorities, from the middle east, cough cough. The red flag should have been when I presented my medical/pilot stuff to him, he read my middle eastern name, and was shaking his head.

DONT GO TO PSA. DONT GO TO PSA. Listen to EVERYONE who is telling you not to go there because I SHOULD have listen to them, and I WAS STUPID to still go there.

And you’re telling me you’re not embarrassed to post this. Take a loss bro. calling a knowledge failure rape?!? AYFKM not a good look SMDH

What ever happened to owning up to your actions. Damn.

Listen. Had an awesome time at PSA. Have never failed one checkride. Then I failed my captain ride because guess what I messed up. and didn’t cry like a baby about it, went back the next day and got it done. You’ll do just fine at PSA.

Also try telling this sob story at an interview with a major and see what they think of this attitude… pathetic

JC is abject trash. He’s there for 3 reasons. 1) He’s scared to death to flow, he’s tried to f over so many mainline pilots he knows what’s waiting for him, payback, so he hides at PSA. 2.) He’s psychotic- a dangerous narcissist to say the least. His unbridled ego and his known dislike for anything in your background and/or demeanor that rubs him the wrong way guarantees a failure. 3)He knows he won’t get hired ANYWHERE once he’s gone. His criminal record and charges are now public knowledge.

If you’ve been a victim of JC, SUE PSA, file a civil claim in Dayton, OH and it’s time the company be held accountable for their gross negligence and corporate apathy. Once you file suit you will go into discovery, all of the HR complaints against JC are on file in Dayton, and they are Discoverable- not only that, his record of who he’s failed and the metrics of his failures are on file with the training department, which means you will subpoena that evidence and deposition each and every one he’s screwed over under oath. Don’t let them destroy evidence, it’s there, and they will likely try. JC has been “disciplined”multiple times within the company for the same behavior.

They will likely try to settle to avoid the case going public and offer you a small six figure amount in return for non-disclosure- ask me how I know.

PSA’s training department is pretty toxic. I was thinking about staying with the company for a little while longer, up until my most recent recurrent. I passed, and I’ve never failed a PSA checkride before. But the way they do things here is strange. There is very little consistency and standardization. It has always been frustrating. I have this same conversation with just about every line captain I fly with. Just about everyone knows this place sucks. Everyone that I know who’s at a mainline job, or even just any place besides a regional, says that life is so much better and checkrides and examiners are easier and a less stressful experience. The overarching theme is that they want to help you succeed and will do everything they can to push you through, assuming you don’t suck really badly.

The personalities of the ones at PSA who can control the rest of your career is strange. I can sense a lot of pent up anger from many of the examiners and it makes me wonder why many of these guys stayed at a regional for their whole careers. I do not want to risk getting JC or some other rogue examiner on the next go, and then they happen to wake up on the wrong side of the bed that morning. I’m getting outta here asap.
