They don't blanket reject DUI's. I referred a friend that got hired with a DUI. He had to show that he could legally fly into Canada.

It was posted initially; I wouldn't call it a mass exodus. I'm just above the 1000 mark and moved up 8. I don't remember the exact total number but I think it was around 1185. Still nothing to brag about since we were going to ramp up hiring in January and be on our way to 1000 additional pilots for 16/17. They may not be in full fledged panic mode yet but if they aren't concerned with staffing at this point there isn't much management in our management team; at least with the information we have been provided. Maybe they don't want any more airplanes or further growth, although that wouldn't seem to make much sense. I may be misinterpreting the vibe but it feels like the current pilot group is being blamed because PSA can't hire new pilots. Hopefully we are able to come to a long term resolution soon to keep people coming in the door. It takes time for people that weren't previously looking for a job to find one that provides some career progression... not an overnight process. It is going to be an interesting summer.

I certainly hope so! That would mean that PSA management realizes that the pilot group is their BEST recruiting tool and that an unhappy pilot group is not going to help them recruit a lot of new hires. In fact, an unhappy pilot group can be very effective at keeping new hires away. And I think we (the PSA pilot group) are currently doing a pretty good job of discouraging pilots from coming here.

If it's not a mass exodus then why pull

16 in a month is a close to a mass exudos, that's 1 pilot every 2 days. Considering it takes 10-12 weeks to get a pilot online that's not a good situation for PSA.
They probably pulled the list to keep us from seeing how many resign in March. Fortunately I saved it so I'll keep everyone updated. If they even publish the list for the May bid

I posted this info when the bids came out. Between the February and March seniority list there were 16 resignations and 10 new hires for a total loss of 6. That makes 16 new hires this year and 28 resignations, with many more to come Im sure.
