Gotcha and thank you..I have two offers from both and not sure which one to take. I have a few weeks to decide. I think the AQP is a good idea also.

Word is PSA has a new TA. Pilots will get iPads in exchange for upping healthcare to 80%. I think you guys should take it, you might get shutdown if you don't. Plus they're iPad airs! Ooh shiny!

PSA bases CLT, DAY, TYS with speculation of a new base in the future with the new planes. Day and TYS are junior but most are getting awarded CLT before done with training.
Indoc and systems is in Dayton, sim is in Cincinnati with a small chance of it being in charlotte. I'll just post facts, there are many others here who love posting their opinions so I'll leave that to them. |
Beginning pay at both?
|
PSA has a CLT base and will probably get another hub base soon if you're planning to commute. PSA has 30 additional planes coming (allegedly) that will drop the upgrade time to 2 or less years. Pdt is shrinking. Even their VP jumped ship to PSA. The Pay is higher at PSA except for year 1 I believe. Pdt might be at 27 while PSA is at 23 per hour. Flight experience you'll get at pdt is a dash. Places like atlas and emirates and other over seas jet operators won't touch you without glass time. Things to keep in mind. You pdt guys shouldn't give career advice. You're ****ed we get that, but why f&ck up some new guys career.

Actually we are getting the new shiny iPads along with bigger coffee cups on the airplane. And I hear if we vote again just to **** people off we might get new seat covers in the flight deck. So come work for PSA. You'll love it.
