PDT and PSA info

Hello,

Anyone have any input on training and bases?

Thanks.

PDTpilotXX 03-12-2014 06:08 PM

Yes. PDT in her death throws but if you want 5g and get 121 current to move on... Welcome. Out station bases, SBY ROA EWN CHO and MDT. The training is tough. Study and have a good attitude (others will have more to say on this I'm sure). Some of the best crews though. As for PSA you won't find any PDT pilots with a good thing to say about them though I'm sure some PSA apologists will be by shortly.

Gotcha and thank you..I have two offers from both and not sure which one to take. I have a few weeks to decide. I think the AQP is a good idea also.

Where is PSA putting the new 900s? Also how many people will it take to staff 30 planes? I have no 121 experience so that is why I ask. From the outside looking in it would seem like upgrade time will shrink a lot there. Lastly what are the chances of flying there and taking a short leave of absence for say 60 days unpaid a couple of times a year? It isn't reserve duty but I have another commitment I am trying to work around.

Upgrades at PSA are currently at 6.3 years. I'm sure it'll drop as with many other regionals out there. They did offer leave of absences last year around this time. Don't expect that this year or any other years from now. Safer choice is PSA over PDT until PDT gets a new fleet plan. I'm sure a lot of that depends on how eagle will vote on their TA.

Go to Piedmont so you can **** and moan about the same thing over and over. I assume by your screen name you work for AirNet?
