Like Mesa??? Their year-4 900 rate is equal to PSAs year-2 rate & Mesa has a ton of 900s. Agree it should be more, but PSA's standards are "ok" for 50 new hires per month & classes every two weeks.......just sayin.

Not sure what standards you are referring to but I don't believe any one pays that much. And the direction is up as far as growth and upgrades. When I read the people on here bashing the PSA pilot group I can't help but wonder how long they have been in the industry. The current environment of downward pressure can be traced back to 2001 when we at Comair walked out for 89 days. We won a good contract. But within a couple months Chautagua went into their 30 day cooling off period and decided to under cut what we had just laid it on the line for.
They will say 911 happened and that may be partially to blame but since that time it has basically been down hill from there.
So if any one on here wants to bash a pilot group for agreeing to concessions think back to 2001. PSA is not alone in giving concessions. They were small enough they could of easily been closed down. And one more note. ALPA has had a big hand in all of this also. But that is a story of it's own.

You guys get 1 percent a year for 10 years? Woefully short of inflation. Maybe 10 percent pay cut.

This is true, and it sucks but...

It's only true for someone who is capped(12/4). Hopefully most of us won't see that and will continue to get raises every year.

You are the problem. Listen to what you're saying. Honestly nothing to say other than hopefully you wake up one day. Let's raise the standards. If you want to continue endorsing this low standard and join a bunch of people who shamefully destroyed the industry that's your choice.

I'm not endorsing anything.

Every single one of your posts is over the top aggressive. I don't feel the need to defend what I say to you.

Come back with a rational statement and maybe you'll get one in return.

Yep because things were so amazing until a few months ago when PSA single handedly "destroyed the industry". give me a break.

Lol.... I wasn't aware that the industry was in good standing to be destroyed.

Not taking sides it just sounded kinda silly. Carry on now
