I think they are at the end of 2011 pilots or getting close to the end. Idk how many 2012 pilots there are.

Is the information on the APC profile accurate? 35 -200s, 14 -700s and 3 -900s with 30 -900s on order? Are any of the -200s slated for parking? Sorry to play 20 questions, I'm just trying to see what the fleet may look like in 2 to 3 years. In other words, I'm trying to figure out how quick the upgrade would be there. Thanks a bunch!

Upgrades will be as fast as you can get 1000hrs 121 time. If you already have it then you won't get a street capt gig. But would be close.

Now there is not any guarantee that PDT won't take the 200's at PSA.
Right now Doug P. is moving the 700's to PSA to scare Envoy into accepting a sub par agreement and then will staff envoy with 175's. Well that's what i think.

The -200s aren't going anywhere. Piedmont is going to be an Embraer only operator in the future. Envoy won't get another crack at a new deal for many years. I know its cool to be pessimistic about everything but PSA and PDT will be growing rapidly in the next 3-5 years.

.

What he said. There will be no street captains. If you have 1000 121, and you're number is up, you're CA.

In June 2015 PSA will have:

14 CRJ-700
30 CRJ-900
35 CRJ-200

Then +47 CRJ-700 over the next year or two, maybe minus some CRJ-200. Still doubling in size.

How does the rest of the airline industry feel about new hires at psa? Like their scum? Or moot point since they didn't technically vote yet? (Although it could be argued their supporting whipsawing by going there)

They voted with their feet. Scum is a fitting term.

If you think those -200s will still be there by the end of 2015, you're crazy. With folks being sucked up by the majors there is no way they can staff growth + attrition.

The rest of the industry outside of Eagle could really care less. The mainline guys don't give a **** what happens at the regionals they are out for themselves just like everyone else in the world

You are just mad you went to Mesa and did not get the planes (aka short upgrades) you thought you were going to get. Now you are stuck with their crappy PBS, good luck hacking into that one. How are the cats?
